Kirkham Pre-School Ltd

We provide daycare for the neighbourhood as an LTD and "not for profit" preschool. Only during the academic year are we open from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. We accept funding of 15 hours per week for children ages 2 and 3, and an additional 30 hours for 3 year olds who qualify. You may learn more by visiting www.lancashire.gov.uk. Additionally, fees may be paid online at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. We are examined by OFSTED. The OFSTED website offers copies of the inspection for download. In order to ensure that we meet the National Standards for child care, we offer an Early Year Foundation Stage Curriculum of the highest calibre. Louise Kelso is the Kirkham Pre-School Ltd.'s registered representative, while Kayleigh Cartmell is the deputy. Volunteers and employees are all DBS-checked. When they first join the team, all staff members take first aid, health and safety, food hygiene, child protection, and safeguarding courses. They also receive ongoing training in these areas. People from outside organisations, such as PIP volunteers who assist with the children who have special needs, may be helping us in the preschool. On rare occasions, we may take young people or adults from schools, colleges, and other training facilities. These persons ARE NOT LEFT ALONE WITH THE YOUNG PEOPLE. Manager Louise Kelso Early years professional with NNEB diploma, specialised teaching assistant certification, and BA with honours in the field. Deputy Manager Kayleigh Cartmell is an apprentice pursuing an NVQ level 3 in childcare.
