Everyone is welcome at Kings Farm Day Nursery because we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity.
Regardless of their skills, all children will be given the chance to take part in all activities offered according to our policy.
Please feel free to speak with the SENCo or a team member who will communicate your concerns to the SENCo if you believe that the SENCo's contribution could enhance your child's experience at Nursery or Kids Club.
We strive to make this as simple as possible since we know that sending your kid off to nursery for the first time is a big deal, stressful, and even traumatic for you and your child.
Kings Farm Day Nursery will maintain the strictest confidentiality about all information it holds.
Information will only be accessible to those who need to know.
If you want to see the information that is maintained in your file, schedule a meeting with the manager.
You can view your child's learning journey at any time; just ask your child's key worker.
We have a social networking policy in place, and we ask that parents and practitioners not talk about the nursery or its customers on these sites.
The children's safety and security are of utmost importance to us, and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure it. Because of this, we ask that you give us a photo of anyone who has your consent to pick up your child. Alternatively, you can choose to use a password system; please talk to the Manager if you think doing so will be useful.
Please inform us if your information changes, such as your address or phone number. No, you inform us so that we can keep your information current.
You will be requested to provide a thorough update of information periodically.
Please notify the school in writing of the days your kid will be attending in order to avoid any confusion regarding school pickups. We also ask that you notify us by 2.30 p.m. on the day of the absence of your child from school.
It is our duty to do all possible to keep kids healthy and safe.
Any suspicion of abuse, no matter how slight, must be documented and reported to the regional Safe Guarding Children Board.
We support children acting appropriately toward their peers, caregivers, and the environment.
Should nursery staff consider that the childs behaviour is unsafe for a particular activity we reserve the right to remove them from the activity, the child will be given fair warning and the opportunity to change their behaviour before this happens.
Please make every effort to keep your child at home if they have any contagious rash/illness, conjunctivitis or sickness and diarrhoea.
We will, of course, get in touch with you or your emergency contacts if your child gets sick while they are at the nursery or Kids Club to make arrangements to have them sent home.
If you ever feel the need to voice a complaint, you should do so with the owner, manager, or deputy.
Your complaint will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and considered seriously.
We will aim to resolve the conflict to its best result, however if you feel it was not resolved to your satisfaction, you of course, have the right to complain to OFSTED.
