Kid's Corner Day Nursery

At the end of April 2013, the ownership of Kids Corner Day Nursery shifted. Since then, we have thoughtfully updated and renovated the entire environment to provide the kids with a home-away-from-home feeling. We are a small, cosy family-run nursery run by mother-daughter combination Diane Ward and Laura Milligan. Both Laura and Diane handle the day-to-day management of the nursery with a very hands-on manner. Laura and Diane, who are both mothers, are aware of the worries and worry that come with entrusting your child for the first time to others. With this in mind, we collaborate closely with each parent to make sure that everyone has a stress-free transition from home to nursery. The goal of Kids Corner Day Nursery is to create a welcoming, stimulating atmosphere where children feel safe, respected, and cherished and parents are content knowing that their kid is being looked after by qualified, committed personnel. There is a great mix between child-led play and adult-led learning throughout the day. At Kids Corner, we place a strong focus on the value of play-based learning and the significance of giving the kids authentic hands-on experiences to accomplish this.
