At Kids Around The Clock, we want our kids to enjoy nursery, feel like the best version of themselves, and succeed in their endeavours.
Rashada Bashir, the company's founder and managing director, chose to become a childminder in 2000 after finding it difficult to find flexible daycare that suited her high standards. Rashada earned her level 3 in Children's Workforce and launched her childminding business out of her Baguley home.
After the Bashir family moved upstairs and converted their house into a high-quality day nursery that received an Ofsted grade of excellent in 2010, Kids Around the Clock became a nursery on domestic property. They then hired personnel and continued to expand.
We were awarded the contract in 2013 to take over an existing building in Woodhouse Park, and we quickly reached capacity.
Good ratings were given to Woodhouse Park in every category, and Kids Around the Clock expanded.
In order to facilitate excellent communication and partnership with our parents/carers, we hired bilingual practitioners when we opened our Chadderton site, Prospect House, in the heart of the Bangladeshi community, in 2016. Only nine months after opening to children, Chadderton received Outstanding at their first Ofsted inspection.
In Wythenshawe, we demolished an ex-sure start building and rebuilt Brookfield Gardens in September 2016.
