K2 Pre-School Academy

K2 Pre-School Academy is run by a highly qualified and experienced early years teacher who is committed to giving kids the finest experiences possible. Everyone who regularly interacts with children at our nursery and pre-school has fulfilled our standards for being qualified to have interactions with children that are both positive and meaningful. Additionally, they are dedicated to working hard to come up with significant methods that they can help the kids in their care grow and learn. More formal credentials that are pertinent to their position aid them in achieving this. Anyone beginning their career in childcare should have a strong passion and interest in children's learning and development. Anyone working in this setting, however, should aim to pursue and obtain more formal qualifications. Through studying for and obtaining a certificate, one gains a detailed knowledge and comprehension of children's development throughout their ages and stages of growth as well as a grasp of how specific children may be best assisted to meet their developmental milestones and goals. Experience in the position promotes academic learning and provides a practical learning method. Early Years Educator, a level 3 qualification; Diploma in Early Years Childcare and Education, a level 6 certificate; and Early Years Teacher, a level 7 qualification, are the current qualifications needed for the position. Staff who are pursuing childcare and education degrees at the level 3 and higher must also have earned their GCSEs in math and English. Along with setting-based learning opportunities, there are also college-based and apprenticeship-based educational options. Our Nursery and Pre-School Leaders, our Deputy Manager, and our Manager, who is also an Early Years Teacher, are all qualified to the levels of Diploma, Early Years Educator, and Level 4.
