According to current estimates, there are five kids with mental health issues in every classroom in the UK. (At Colehill First School, we understand that maintaining excellent physical and mental health is equally vital.
We impart age-appropriate information about helping others with their mental health to our children.
In order to achieve the best potential mental health for our children, parents play a crucial role.
We actively advocate for everyone having good mental health, and we make it a part of our purpose to further inform our parents, the nearby community, and other people about the advantages of having good mental health.
Classrooms that are Calm and Peaceful Our learning spaces are designed to be secure and comforting locations for students to learn.
Adults recognise the value of developing environments that support excellent mental health.
Please speak with your child's class teacher or Mrs. Sarah Fairman, the Deputy Headteacher and Inclusion Lead, if you are concerned that your child may be having mental health concerns.
Children with major mental health concerns can receive support from CAMHS, a service provided by the NHS.
The school may refer a student to CAMHS, or your GP may do so.
