I'm happy to provide you an update on hopespring's development since our last talk. I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone who has supported us during these difficult times as well as to the great hopespring personnel. Without a doubt, it has been a very challenging and interesting year. Due to the fact that our schools, as well as our Young Mum and Babies Supported Accommodation and children's home, remained open throughout the epidemic and during the holidays, we have made considerable investments in internal and external training this year. We have been incredibly impressed by how these carefully chosen new hires have quickly earned the respect of the team and shared our passion for doing everything possible to help the young lives we touch achieve a successful future since we hired 10 new employees in September of last year after receiving hundreds of applications. Each of our executive headteachers, Jake and Toby, are BACP-certified therapists who are also pursuing PhD and Masters degrees in trauma-informed practise, respectively. They both serve as our executive headteacher. They both hold qualifications for group work in schema therapy. Sunderland University is where Johanna, our speech-language pathologist, obtained her SENCO certification. Through the Hull University programme we take part in, Aidy and Ashleigh will begin the process of becoming qualified teachers, while Eoghan will begin his Masters in Psychology. In September, Cassy—a teacher and seasoned mental health professional—will begin her SENCO programme at Sunderland University.
