The values of the Gospel, based on the Beatitudes in the Gospel of Matthew, guide our work and influence the school's attitude and decision-making (Chapter 5: 1-11).
All employees and local governors, especially those in leadership positions, would be expected to uphold and support the Nolan principles by setting an example for others to follow.
For all of those who work for Plymouth CAST, in our schools, or in CAST Central, the Board passed a staff code of conduct on October 26.
Each governor should sign a statement acknowledging that they have read, understood, and will support the Code. The Committee on Standards in Public Life was founded by the then-Prime Minister in October 1994, with Lord Nolan serving as its chairman. Its purpose was to evaluate the standards of behaviour in various spheres of public life and to offer suggestions.
