The first leisure trust established in the UK was Sheffield City Trust. Since 1987, we have paved the way with an unmatched selection of sporting, recreational, and entertainment venues to establish ourselves as The Health and Wellbeing Charity.
For the past 30 years, we've been working to encourage people to get active, have fun with friends, and leave a lasting legacy for our locations. Being a part of the larger city's fabric makes us proud.
Since we are a not-for-profit organisation, all of our profits are spent in enhancing our facilities and programmes to make sure we are around for the communities we serve. Since 1990, we have made an estimated $50 million in facility upgrades and community outreach initiatives.
Our venues host over 4 million visitors annually, from afternoon tea dances in the art deco setting of Sheffield City Hall to swimming in the Olympic Pool at Ponds Forge.
Our facilities and activities cater to everyone in the communities all across the city thanks to our open to all ethos.
