Hemingbrough Pre School, established in 1974 and still operating today, has been providing child care for more than 30 years. Our facility offers 2 to 5 year olds high-quality care. We are in the village of Hemingbrough, which is off the A63, halfway between Selby and Goole. Our organisation is managed by a management committee made up of voluntary parents, whose decisions affect the path in which their children's education will go. We also have a level 4-qualified management team in the preschool. The management committee would be more than happy to have you on board if you want to have a say. They hold frequent meetings. We communicate with other childcare organisations as well as OFSTED, The Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership, Pre School Learning Alliance, and others. A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments, and Learning and Development are the four themes of the new Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which we follow. stimulating the learning and development of the kids through a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Additionally, we have a key worker system in place that allows us to work more closely with you, the parent or caretaker, and your child by designating one member of staff to be their key worker. At any moment during your child's stay with us, we appreciate any information from home that you believe may help us plan for or assist your child.
