Heddington Preschool

A vibrant village preschool serving young children from 18 months to five years old, Heddington Preschool is located just outside of Calne. A gorgeous rural setting with plenty of outdoor space surrounds the preschool, which is located on the grounds of Heddington Primary School. We began as a modest playgroup more than 20 years ago, but through time, we've expanded and changed, and now we can accommodate up to 27 kids per session. The preschool relocated to a new, specially constructed facility in April 2009. The brand-new structure has fantastic indoor and outdoor play areas. The manager is in charge of the team of fully trained employees that deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage. We adhere to "The Curiosity Approach" in our environment because we think of ourselves as "an extension of home, not a watered-down school." There are a variety of educational possibilities available to kids, including raising chickens and ducklings by hand, playing in puddles, cultivating their own flowers and veggies, and discovering the local environment. Additionally, the preschool offers PE classes, music/singing time, and a huge outdoor garden with a sensory area and a portion for growing plants and observing bugs.
