Hatherley Pre-School

We are a tiny pre-school that is housed in the Hatherley Scout Hut on Penrith Road.
We aim to make sure that your child has a positive pre-school experience at Hatherley Pre-School.
To make the transfer as seamless as possible, we will work with the school that your child will be attending during Terms 5 and 6.
We will schedule visits, invite teachers from your child's school, and plan for your child's key person to complete transition documents and discuss them with parents.
We urge parents to participate in their child's preschool education since you, as their parents, know your kids best.
We designate a key person for every child, who parents are encouraged to speak with at every session, particularly when their kid first begins.
Parents can access our online learning journey, Tapestry, through a secure login.
Every day, kids can go outside and play.
Every session must include time for the children to play outside, according to the EYFS.
In light of this, kindly ensure that your kid arrives at pre-school dressed appropriately for the day's weather.
Our legislative framework, known as the Early Years Foundation Stage, runs from the time a child is born to the conclusion of their first year of school.
To establish the beginning points and track the development of your kid, we use a document called Development Matters.
A brochure created by the Department of Education provides parents with a wealth of information on the EYFS.
At Hatherley Pre-School, we encourage a balanced diet.
We request a wholesome, well-balanced lunch.
