At Hatching Dragons Westminster, we foster childrens intercultural awareness and understanding of the world, in a positive learning environment.
Our Pimlico nursery and preschool is located in a wonderful Grade 1 listed building with playground and gardens.
In beautifully designed rooms and a big playground, our children are exposed to different cultures through the English and Mandarin languages.
Our Baby Dragons are beginning to understand their environment and world much more.
Blue Dragons are introduced to the academic areas of development in more detail.
Our toddlers are able to recite numbers in sequence, express numbers and marks in writing, which suggests early cognition of numerals.
Blue Dragons also begin to understand the concepts of possession and feelings of ownership with a focus on establishing boundaries.
They develop values like respect, responsibility, kindness and compassion, and we introduce them to abstract concepts in reading and writing though adult led activities.
Our Dragon Flight children are able to listen, understand or speak between 1000-2500 words by the time they leave us for Reception and primary school.
They are also able to count in sequence and recognise numerals in Chinese and English beyond 20.
