45 kids between the ages of 3 months and 5 years old are cared for and receive Foundation Stage education at the Harvey Road Day Nursery (HRDN) in the heart of Cambridge.

Have you ever heard of schemas? A schema is just a pattern of behaviour or play that your child repeats and utilises to explore ideas and thoughts. To an adult, doing things again may seem unusual or even frustrating, but your child is actually strengthening the connections in their brains by doing this. Schemas come in a wide variety of forms. The most frequent ones include trajectory, linking, rotating, transferring, enveloping, and containment.
