increasing opportunities and raising everyone's quality of life by encouraging women's economic independence.
A community training and development cooperative called account3 was established in Tower Hamlets in 1991. Our main focus is helping local women who are underrepresented and of various ethnic backgrounds find solutions to problems that have a negative impact on their life. The business uses a one-stop shop model to offer local residents guidance, assistance, resources, and education while utilising a framework for community development to increase local capacity and resilience.
The account3 organisation was founded in the culturally diverse and rich Bethnal Green neighbourhood of East London, which is home to numerous socially and economically disadvantaged minority groups from around the world. The account3 organization's main goals are gender equality and economic independence for women, with a focus on those who experience multiple disadvantages.
Account3 is a female-led organisation with a broad ethnic makeup. Our Board is made up of a diverse collection of local professional women who are passionate about the advancement and inclusion of women.
The account3 personnel team is made up of a multiethnic and multilingual group that reflects the neighbourhood. In order to organise our services, maintain quality, and develop strategies in collaboration with local women, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders, the team is totally committed to co-production and community development approaches. Our work is supported by a strong group of volunteers, and we are appreciative of their efforts regardless of what inspired them to contribute in the first place. We are aware of the significant influence volunteers make on all facets of our work.
