Green Nursery School, an expanded initiative of Green Academy Trust that started in February 2009 when they acquired the previous Croft Nursery School, is registered with OFSTED.
The structure has undergone recent renovations and now includes a fully functional Islamic nursery.
The Green Crescent School, an independent Islamic primary school branch, is located in the second of our two branches, which is now at Basford. The first branch is at Radford and is simply an early years setting.
One of the key objectives of the Green Nursery Schools is to prosper, increase enrollment, and offer the community high-quality, reasonably priced early childhood education.
The mission of Green Nursery School is to provide high-quality childcare and early childhood education for children from birth to five years old in safe and secure surroundings.
As part of our Islamic ethos, which combines with core British values to ensure children learn to be kind and respectful of one another, have reciprocal tolerance for others who are different from them, make their own decisions, and not only be confident as individuals but also be responsible for their actions and know how to manage their feelings, we provide resources for children to encourage and adapt Islamic morals and an Islamic way of life.
Indoor Environments: To ensure that all of our children have the best possible start in life, we offer engaging, interesting, and creative care in a setting with a variety of chances for learning and development via play and interaction at their own space.
Outdoor play areas and environments that are open to nature: Each classroom at our Radford branch has access to the use of very sizable, open, and natural outdoor spaces and play grounds.
For kids to have access to open spaces and natural settings, Vernon Park is located across the street from the Basford branch, which also has a sizable outdoor area.
The value and relevance of outdoor pretend play is acknowledged by Green Nursery School.
The learning environment, after the two classroom instructors, is the third teacher in early childhood education, according to the Reggio Emilia philosophy (Edwards, Gandini & Forman, 1998).
The outside environment should be included in addition to the interior early childhood school.
Children and the calibre of their play are impacted by the places in which they play.
Our whole team at Green Nursery School works tirelessly to provide children and their families the greatest experience possible, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful individuals on our team.
