Great Longstone Pre-School

For the school year 2022–2023, we are currently accepting 3- and 4-year-olds who are both supported and unfunded. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more as there are only a few openings for new 2-year-olds left. Children from the age of two until school age can attend the tiny, amiable, and independent Great Longstone Pre-school. Our emphasis is on play-based learning, and we offer children a stimulating and secure setting in which to learn about and explore their surroundings. Since its inception in 1984, Great Longstone Pre-school has been operating and is a registered charity. We are a small, welcoming setting with three beautiful staff members that foster a warm and engaging environment where our kids can learn and develop. We place a lot of emphasis on child-led play and enjoy throwing open our doors to allow kids to engage in free-flow play, where they may select where they play and what they play with. Since we are aware of how unique each child is, we make sure they all get the chance to study in a way that motivates them. For instance, some kids might not like making marks with a pen and paper indoors, but their creativity is captured when they decide to play with chalks on the sidewalk outside.
