Golden Flight is the name of the piece of art in our Apple Tree Cafe garden.
On June 29, 2019, it was unveiled during our Mixtape Family Festival.
Men's Health Week is observed worldwide from June 15 through June 21.
This is a time to raise awareness of health concerns that disproportionately impact men and focuses on helping men become aware of issues they may already be experiencing or may develop in the future and build the courage to take action.
The Downham Mens Group is honoured to operate at the Goldsmiths Community Centre, where they have continued to collaborate in a secure, socially isolated setting throughout the lockdown.
The project coordinator, Trevor Pybus, is the author of this guest article.
I am quite concerned about the lockdown's immediate and long-term effects on the Downham Community, particularly on the men there.
Male mental health has previously been a major worry for experts, decision-makers, and younger members of the Royal Family.

The room is currently without heat or electricity and has some interesting walls.
The queries posed are valid.
It is for whom?
How quickly can we increase the sessions?
Additionally, we have started to clean up the overgrown allotment plot, which we are confident will be restored and used to grow fresh produce for the Apple Tree Cafe.
Despite our best attempts to be environmentally friendly, the clearing still filled three skips.
The results of our work are already beginning to be seen on the grounds.
The options for using the community's expertise in a constructive way are endless.
Toys and playthings need love and care to be restored so that kids can enjoy them, and an overgrown former Forest School could be given a new use.
Give a Song is a brand-new volunteer endeavour that we are launching.
The goal is to use music's ability to uplift persons who are solitary or otherwise socially isolated during this trying period.
Were looking for local musicians who would be interested in donating their time to perform a few songs from a safe distance outside their houses.
