Chess was created in 1993 by the CEO, David Pollock.
With the deregulation of the industry in the late 1990s, we began concentrating on the telecoms sector. We bought fixed-line, mobile, and broadband telecoms products from companies like BT and Cable & Wireless and resold them to 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses, including Bargain Booze and Sale Sharks Rugby Club.
