Garden Cottage Nursery At Kent College

Mon through Fri, 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, we are open. The Nursery is open for 50 weeks out of the year, with one week off for Christmas, one for Easter, and one for a holiday. Children are welcome to attend the entire day or just the morning or afternoon sessions. The morning sessions last from 8 am to 1 pm, and the afternoon sessions last from 1 pm to 6 pm. Additionally, we offer an extended hours service from 7.30 to 8 am and from 6 to 6:30 evening.
For those who need to sleep or take naps during the day, arrangements have been made. We provide bed mats for older kids and dream cradles for toddlers under two. Children who are sleeping are constantly watched over and never left alone. The bedding is offered.
Each child has a staff person (Key Person) who is in charge of overseeing their daily upkeep, growth, and education as well as observations, evaluations, and collaboration with parents. We have a key buddy system in place in case your child's Key Person is not on duty for the day. Staff members who work full days and report back to you at the end of the day will welcome you and your child. This guarantees that we deliver top-notch continuity of care. Additionally, each kid has a daily care and learning record that is publicly shared with parents at all times.
We take our time settling each child in. These brief sessions are free and provide each child as much time as they require to form enduring ties.
Our restrooms and change tables encourage self-help abilities and support this developmental time. Nappies, wipes, and creams are provided by parents.
Depending on demand, we collaborate with experts to offer infant yoga, music, etc. sessions. These sessions are chargeable in addition.
