I was chosen to serve as a governor of the Dorothy Goodman School in March 2015. I was involved in every step of the transformation into the Multi Academy Trust known as Open Thinking Partnership (OTP). I met Dorothy Goodman for the first time in 1997, when I worked there as a learning support assistant. NLE, Ofsted Additional Inspector, Pupil Premium Reviewer, and former head teacher of the President Kennedy School for seven years, during which time it went from being in RTI to being Outstanding in every category. Between 2012 and 2015, the school twice placed among the top 100 secondary schools in the state, putting it in the top 3% of all schools for development.
