Furrough Cross Pre-School

Thanks for visiting Furrough Cross Pre-School. Children between the ages of two and five are welcome at our well-established pre-school.
On Babbacombe Road in Torquay, the Pre-School is housed in the schoolroom behind Furrough Cross Church. The Schoolrooms were constructed 150 years ago to benefit youngsters in the neighbourhood. Both then and now, we still believe it to be necessary. A home-like, secure, and welcoming environment is what we strive for at Furrough Cross because we are aware of how frightening it can be for any young child to leave their parents for the first time. With our excellent Ofsted ratings, we are convinced that we have succeeded, but you are invited to visit and verify our claims.
In the Pre-School, we put a lot of effort into achieving the learning objectives outlined in the national curriculum. We accomplish this in a lighthearted manner by employing engaging subject matter for young children. The termly theme is always communicated to parents, and they are always encouraged to offer their thoughts. Parents can study our Ofsted report at their own convenience.
Furrough Cross is a place where all kids are welcome, regardless of their colour, culture, or religion. Despite being housed in a church, we are not a church preschool. Although we do periodically use the church's main facility at certain periods of the year, our ethos is Christian. We are constantly mindful of other people's religious convictions, and we would be pleased to talk with you about any issues or concerns you may have.
