Forest School For Life

(April through August) 8 am to 5 pm (September March). A distinctive kind of outdoor teaching is known as "forest school." Although each Forest School is unique, they all adhere to the same fundamental ideals; for more details, visit the Forest School Association. We accept infants as young as six months old and may accommodate kids as old as eight during school hours. To maximise learning opportunities, we blend the ages of the participants during the courses. The nursery at our Marsupial Base Camp is reserved for the youngest members of our family. For our younger children's extra rest and relaxation, this marsupial camp is situated away from the bigger kids. There are plenty of cosy home comforts inside a sizable heated summer house, which also has a kitchen and a sleeping room. opens to a personal garden outside. a multi-sensory space brimming with opportunities for learning. The Den is basecamp to our over two year olds, we cook from fresh every day alongside the children who learn life skills early on. Our Den is full with natural resources and sensory experiences, as you may imagine. We have a heated Yurt that we use for sleeping, quiet reflection, and escape from the weather. In addition to the Marsupial and Den camps, we have access to 20 acres of private woodland for general usage. which, in keeping with the permaculture philosophy of organic farming, we use to plant, cultivate, and harvest our own food. We have natural ponds where you can go dipping and learn more about the local ecology.
