A child's attitude toward learning in general is greatly supported by the Characteristics of Effective Learning that are listed in the EYFS's Development Matters section.
Three major areas and four distinct learning areas make up the Learning and Development.
We will promote learning in the following three key areas through play and caring.
As well as the three prime areas we will also plan activities in the following areas of learning and development, known as specific areas.
Your child's key person will speak with you about their growth and pursuits to make sure they are making good progress both at home and at school.
Throughout the EYFS, there are two obligatory progress checks.
At our nursery, each child has a key person who assists in integrating them and their families.
The main person will observe children and organise activities to support their growth.
