From the Finborough School
I'm delighted to welcome you to our website and tell you more about Finborough School's distinctive teaching methodology.
I feel incredibly privileged to be the head of a truly outstanding institution with a gorgeously upbeat culture and a relentless focus on achievement.
We take seriously our responsibility to give students "the best preparation for life," and I'd like to explain how our school carries out this goal.
In every way, Finborough is a family that learns.
Each of our students is well-known, esteemed, and loved for their unique skills and qualities.
It is quite special to be able to teach children between the ages of two and eighteen and to witness them develop into young adults who are prepared to face the outside world.
Children at Finborough can be the best versions of themselves without the limitations or insecurities that often impede a young person during their most formative years.
Our conventional yet forward-thinking curriculum and emphasis on "Learnability" offer a completely individualised approach to enthral and inspire each and every student.
We take a special method to cultivating our students' appetite for learning, comprehension, and improvement called "Learnability."
The ability to continuously concentrate on little learning gains is an incredibly effective tool for both school and life after graduation.
Undoubtedly, having a "better never stops" growth mindset and being an independent or even interdependent learner are important traits for becoming a highly successful person. These traits perfectly align with our emphasis on Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, which form the basis of our creative and forward-thinking leadership programme at the school.
Finborough students have access to an incredible variety of opportunities, and as you might guess, they are extremely engaged in these opportunities.
For members of our community who board full-time, on a regular basis, or occasionally using our flexi-boarding alternatives Finborough is a true home away from home.
As a personal remark, let me say that my wife and I have no doubt that Finborough is the best option for our two girls.
