Fence Pre School

We have a solid, amiable workforce.
For the first half an hour we have settling in time when the children are free to play.
Then it's time to have fun.
With toys and equipment chosen for the day, there are many options for free play both indoors and outdoors, along with adult-led activities.
We offer self service snacks from 9.30 am and 1.30 pm.
We operate with a Smile for Life theme that exhorts kids to only consume sugary foods during meals.
Snack time is self service.
The kids are urged to participate in pairs, groups, or independently.
The childrens creations are displayed on the boards around the pre-school.
Please talk to your child about what they have done at pre-school and listen to what they have to say.
It is advised not to outfit your child very fancy.
All the toys, equipment and activities are chosen to meet the different educational needs of your children.
Our goals and activities vary to fit the requirements of each unique child, and we send out activity sheets so you know what your child will be doing each day. We follow the government's 2012 guidelines for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Every month, the staff gathers to plan, incorporating your child's learning as well as new experiences that will support your child's growth.
Each staff member completes one of these; your kid will have a key person who is in charge of compiling information on their educational progress prior to entering school. This enables us to identify your child's strengths and the developmental areas in which we can provide support.
We provide a variety of activities to promote your child's growth in all spheres, some of which are also started by your child.
Please feel free to talk to me or any other staff member if you have any questions or concerns regarding your kid or anything you would like us to be aware of.
We undergo Ofsted inspections as a supplier of education, and our most recent report is accessible upon request.
Within our pre-school setting, we welcome all children.
Once your kid has adjusted, we would like to extend an invitation for you to periodically assist on the parents rota.
For all 2 and 3 year old children, the 15 hour early years funding entitlement is flexible. Only children who meet the requirements can receive money for children under 2 years old.
Fees are paid on a weekly/monthly basis and must be paid even if your child is unable to attend.

You are more than welcome to call in and see us in the weeks leading up to your child starting pre-school.

We ask that you complete this form and bring it along with you on your childs induction or first day.
Access to the indoor area is easy to access with a wheelchair via a ramp and the doors are widened.
The nursery can be flexible in the set up to accommodate a child / adult with a wheelchair / walking frame.
