The students are the best spokespersons for our institution.
Our school is situated right in the middle of a bustling and welcoming hamlet.
Over the past 157 years, our school has steadily expanded to 350 students.
Our building's construction is currently in its seventh phase.
The Devon Ladies have since been destroyed, and construction is currently underway on a new building of four classrooms.
This 34-week project is scheduled to be completed on June 6, 2014.
Our school's entire development is clearly and compellingly envisioned, and this inspires both staff and students to collaborate in order to maintain high standards for academic performance, behaviour, and personal development.
Every member of the staff, both teaching and non-teaching, is dedicated to ensuring that every child has a safe and enjoyable time at school, that they can reach their full potential, and that all levels of ability are accommodated for.
As a staff, we firmly believe that "every child matters" and that children learn best in settings where both excellence and fun are valued.
These four overarching ideas—Enjoyment, Potential, Inclusion, and Community—comprise the school's ethos and represent a "EPIC" vision for all of our students.
Due to our old "wooden path" structure being taken down for construction development, our school association is currently gathering money to create a new one.
Exminster is now well-known throughout the county for its exceptional, effective approach to inclusion, which not only has helped students with a wide range of special needs achieve outstanding progress, but has also benefited all students by recognising, fostering, and celebrating their individuality.
We are proud of our close ties to our Cygnet group and Exminster Preschool.
This has shown to help kids adjust to starting school in September as they get used to the setting, the people, and the routines.
We take great pride in our connections to local, national, and international communities.
Recently, two fund-raising events have been requested by our Year 6 students to generate money for the Filipino people.
We have helped a school in Zambia earn money for reading materials as several of our parents have connections with that country.
We entered the Methodist-run village Christmas tree decoration contest for the first time this year.
