Wonderful school. Our children have benefited from the rich diverse community- students, teachers and families. They have done well academically and have enjoyed everything else the school has to offer. The only negative for me is limited government funding means the site looks a little tired.
The school has a unique culture due to it's bilingual model and history as it was formerly the European School. Not all families are bilingual but all are bought into the value of multilingualism and an international outlook. The primary years are nurturing and incorporate forest school sessions and regular class shows in two languages. My children are happy here.
Europa is a truly unique school where students in the primary school learn English 2.5 days a week and their second language (German, Spanish or French) for the next 2.5 days. In secondary this changes and a third language is usually introduced. There is no school uniform, but also there is absolutely pressure to wear the latest fashion and the children seem very content within themselves it is a happy school , with almost a...
A friendly and diverse state school with a bilingual curriculum. It is underfunded but doing a huge amount with what it's got. My kids have been through primary already and speak German really well. They are now studying for the MYP and I am really happy with the school.
