Elsecar Nursery

Behind Elsecar Holy Trinity Primary School on Church Street in Elsecar, Elsecar Community Nursery is situated in a peaceful, secure environment. The Nursery has its own secure entry and is separate from the school. It is a registered charity that is run by a hardworking staff group and a local community committee. It fits into a bigger picture of neighbourhood and local community child care. In accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines, Elsecar Community Nursery offers engaging and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that cater to children's interests and specific needs. Children can explore and test themselves with a variety of tools and materials in our vibrant and engaging environment, including our library and sensory room. Our outdoor learning area is a year-round facility, and the advantage of a synthetic surface adds to the year-round attraction for families. Children between the ages of two and five are welcome, and we offer both paid and free classes for those who are two, three, and four years old. All children, including those with special needs who are supported by our on-site skilled SENCo, can have their needs met. Our entire staff is made up of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals who are encouraged to advance their careers. This makes it possible for everyone of the staff to grow in knowledge and skill, which in turn allows them to give your kids experiences that are of the highest calibre. We offer a nutritious snack, and we humbly need a weekly voluntary contribution of 50p. We also ask that parents or caregivers provide a nutritious lunch for kids who stay through noon.
