Downton Community Pre-School

We are listed with Ofsted and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We give kids the chance to learn through play in a motivating, supportive, and secure setting. We think that education is a lifelong process that begins at birth and lasts through formal schooling, pre-school, and adulthood. Children develop more fast in their early years than at any other time. Our pre-secure, school's exciting, and educationally rewarding atmosphere promotes that growth while also assisting parents in recognising and meeting the needs of their young children. We hope that Downton Community Pre-School and its parents can collaborate to provide experiences that foster our children's critical thinking, literacy, arithmetic, and science abilities and comprehension. Parents can support their children as they advance through the learning process by getting involved in it early on.

We adhere to the Bristol Standard, an early years self-evaluation framework. The self-evaluation framework is intended to assist child-minding businesses, reception classes, nurseries, and pre-schools in reflecting on, evaluating, and improving their practises. The national Investors in Children programme has awarded The Bristol Standard with Quality Assurance Status and given it praise on a national scale.
