Welcome to the world of T Levels, your next study option after completing your GCSES.
A T Level is a two-year degree that combines classroom instruction with a lengthy industrial placement as part of a programme created in collaboration with employers.
A T Level, which is equal to three A-levels, gives you the knowledge and skills you need to start working right away, enrol in an apprenticeship, or pursue higher study.
You will be given a nationally recognised certificate upon completion of your T Level, which will aid in your transition into skilled employment or a higher apprenticeship.
If you choose to continue your education at a university or college, your qualification will also be worth UCAS points.
Three A-levels at an A* grade are equivalent to a T Level Distinction.
We are one of the first colleges the government has chosen to introduce T Level qualifications as a top-notch technical substitute for A-levels and apprenticeships.
We were picked due to our solid history of fostering job experience, problem-based learning, and project-related learning, as well as our collaborations with employers.
In the next years, more T Levels will be offered, until 25 subjects—from engineering to science and from agriculture to catering—are covered.
We have also established specialised pathways at Level 2 to ensure you can transfer to the new programmes at Level 3 without any difficulty since we want to give as many young people as possible the chance to benefit from T Levels.
There are three alternatives for the one-year Transition to T Level in the fields of design, surveying, and planning in construction as well as education and childcare.
For students who might not be quite ready to start a full T Level programme right immediately, they will offer the best preparation.
View case studies that showcase input from students and employers on their experiences with industrial placements in a variety of sector contexts.
You can use the case studies to discuss industry placements or potential T Levels with students, parents, and employers.
