The idea of a Forest School, which was first introduced in Denmark, provides children with learning opportunities that are currently recognised by research as being the most beneficial to a child's development. This is especially true for boys, who enjoy being able to build dens out of tree branches and then go on picnics or listen to stories outside the confines of a traditional nursery. The kids adore freshly made roast meals, fruits and veggies from nearby farms, and the greatest food available. In addition to serving delicious food, emphasis is placed on creating a social environment at mealtimes so that toddlers and young children can cheerfully eat with older children and adults.
