Croughton Pre-School

We were founded in 2002, and the Croughton Village Hall houses outstanding facilities. For dropping off and picking up, a fairly big "off-street" parking lot in front of the building offers a highly secure setting. Our high adult-to-child ratio enables us to provide each child with the individualised attention necessary to meet their requirements and advance their development. Playing with their buddies is a great time for kids. They arrive at the preschool smiling, and the staff welcomes them with warmth and friendliness. They develop close relationships with the staff and create enduring friendships with their peers. Children are well-supervised by staff, which makes them feel comfortable and secure. Every day, they put a lot of effort into organising the materials and activities to foster a stimulating workplace. Children exhibit a good attitude, are self-assured, inquisitive learners, and enjoy learning new things. For instance, they pretend to be looking for "bears" in the woods by making binoculars out of cardboard tubes and telling tourists to use them. When cutting and slicing veggies for the soup they are creating with staff, children handle tools and equipment deftly. They can name the vegetables and recognise their colours. They might inform the staff that they have a "large red pepper" and a "hard orange carrot," for instance.
