Cricklade Preschool Playgroup

The Cricklade Pre-School Playgroup is operated by a volunteer parent management committee and is a registered charity. We are accredited by the Bristol Standards and a member of the Early Years Alliance (formerly known as PLA).
A small group of moms who wanted their kids to socialise started the Playgroup in 1968 by setting up a put-away playgroup in the Cricklade Town Hall. The Playgroup was able to provide a space where kids may feel content, at ease, and secure after moving to the Old Library building in 2003.
Children from 2 to primary school age can enrol in our pre-school programme.
Our Pre-School can accommodate up to 28 kids every session.
We are open from 7.30 am to 4 pm, and for those who arrive early, we serve breakfast.
We give kids the chance to learn through play in a motivating and supportive setting. Every child is a unique individual with their own personality, skills, sense of humour, and requirements, and we respect that.
Our goal at Cricklade Pre-School Playgroup is to give children a welcoming, nurturing environment where they feel secure. Our distinctive Pre-School provides a range of activities that are especially intended to promote each child's development. Children easily and spontaneously achieve their social, emotional, and physical milestones through cooperative play and creative endeavours.
