CommunityWorks is a facility that offers numerous services to the entire community.
The local community has benefited greatly from our presence, and throughout the school year, we welcome between 500 and 600 visitors weekly.
In 2003, locals from the region, including St. Augustines Church and resident and tenant groups, founded Communityworks.
We changed our legal status to a charity and a business limited by guarantee in 2004. A board of local residents now governs us.
The former St. Augustines First School, which was renovated in 2006 into a sizable community centre, is where we are located.
We are currently a vibrant community project that includes a children's centre with a variety of activities, a nursery for children ages 2 to 5, and possibilities for kids and adults of all ages.
The requirements of the local population have guided the development of our activities.
