Clever Clogs Day Nursery | Ofsted Reports, Fees, Reviews (2025)

Two outstanding early years settings in Durham's cathedral city are run by the family-owned children's day care firm Clever Clogs, which has received outstanding ratings from Ofsted. Children ages 0 to 11 are cared for in our nurseries in Belmont and Bowburn, which also offer out-of-school care and vacation groups. The Early Years Foundation Stage standards are met by each of the rooms that make up either nursery. When your kid enrols at Clever Clogs, we carefully and thoughtfully organise their nursery experience, taking into account their unique needs and preferences. When the time comes for children to leave Clever Clogs, they will be fully prepared for the next phase of their educational journey because of the careful monitoring of their progress to ensure that they learn and develop at their own pace. We also document this process by coordinating with nearby schools. In addition to their qualifications, our staff is carefully chosen for their warm personalities and commitment to putting the children at the centre of all we do. Our Durham nurseries are both considered exceptional by Ofsted. Children exhibit high levels of positive behaviour at Belmont, according to inspectors, as they develop warm and enduring relationships with both the staff and their classmates.
