Chudleigh Knighton Pre-School

The village Play group quickly developed from what had originally been intended as a venue for parents with kids to meet other parents with kids. The Play group grew into the Pre-school, which is currently operated by a group of volunteer Directors together with qualified staff and is subject to Ofsted inspections, as a result of changes in care and education over the years. We received a Good overall rating at our most recent Ofsted inspection in December 2018. A joyful, expertly run preschool is Chudleigh Knighton Pre-school. We offer a learning environment with child-initiated learning activities for kids from the age of two to school age. Through play and social interaction, kids learn at their own rate. In the Pre-school, there are currently 6 staff members working there. All employees are fully qualified and have undergone background checks through the "Disclosure and Barring Service" and Ofsted. We also have an Administrator on staff. Three directors who each bring a variety of talents to the Pre-school make up the Charitable Limited Company that runs the Pre-school.
