Located in a grade 2 listed former auction house and chapel, Chestnut Nursery St. Giles serves the thriving and diverse city of Norwich.
The Nursery is organised into 4 different, individually designed areas where kids can learn and grow.
At Chestnut Nursery St. Giles, we aim to inspire confidence and stimulate a sense of curiosity and enquiry through open ended and child-initiated play, supported through warm positive relationships and engaging quality interactions.
The creative, natural and aesthetic awareness applied to all areas of the nursery results in an innovative provision where staff empower children to foster a positive disposition to learning, independence and creativity.
After attaining my Level 3 Diploma, I started working for St Giles Day Nursery as a morning practitioner and have since made my way up to Room Lead and Manager of Chestnut Boutique Nursery at St Giles.
I later advanced to the position of Safeguarding Lead Practitioner for one of our sites.
I am passionate in fostering children's growth and development.
I'm a Level 3 child development, care, and care professional.
I've always loved taking care of friends' kids and watching them grow, so I knew I wanted to work with kids.
In 2012, I started working at Chestnut Nursery School, and I still adore it now.
Chestnut Nursery Schools have given me the support and opportunity to work my way up to Deputy Manager at St Giles.
