Ashford, Kent, has two nursery schools.
On September 2003, we launched a smaller branch in Kingsnorth Road, Ashford, in response to the rising demand for spots at our Nursery.
You may find brief descriptions of our nurseries, where we employ Montessori tools to support our instruction, on the pages that follow.

The Nursery School is accessible to all local families.

The Italian educator Maria Montessori created the Montessori method of nursery education at the beginning of the 20th century.

Children are given the option to choose from a carefully curated range of games and exercises that will each help them develop one or more facets of their personalities.
Every activity has equal significance, and kids are encouraged to participate in them all, though they are never coerced.
Children are encouraged to learn how to interact with other members of the group socially, whether they are peers, teachers or visitors, and will learn how to perform many simple practical activities leading to independence and competence in life skills as diverse as dusting a shelf to settling an argument.
