The Checkendon Pre School CIO has been in operation since 1979.
Our mission is to provide a setting that meets children's developmental needs while being safe, healthy, caring, and stimulating.
In accordance with each child's needs, we promote independence, curiosity, and inquiry through play, fostering self-assurance and a lifelong love of learning.
Children can enrol at Checkendon Preschool as early as age 2. (including those in nappies).

The Checkendon Pre-School CIO is registered to receive government funds, including support for 2 and 3 year olds for 30 hours.
Older children who attend Checkendon Primary School and are up to the age of 11 are also welcome at breakfast club.
Along with a selection of wholesome breakfast choices, we provide a warm and engaging environment for your child to get ready for the day.
Children can also get an early start at Checkendon Pre-School, which opens at 8 am.
