Charlie Bear's Nursery

At Charlie Bear's Nursery, we take great satisfaction in providing high-quality childcare in a cosy nursery setting in the heart of the neighbourhood. All of our kids can explore and have fun learning in a secure, entertaining, and creative atmosphere that we provide. Since no two children learn in the same ways, we strive to provide individualised care for each child so they can realise their full potential and get ready for formal school. At Charlie Bears, we play and explore the nursery and the surrounding area to discover interesting learning opportunities. We have qualified leaders in both the forest and beach school and are members of the forest childcare association, which provides us with special chances for interesting outdoor learning. Our time in the forest is set aside in the morning. We gather every Friday during the academic year at Annecy Catholic Primary School to enjoy the protected school grounds' wooded area. There are many games and chances for imaginative play at the location, and we also bring some of our own that can be appropriate for the time of year or the kids' current interests. We eat a mid-morning snack outside before returning to the nursery for lunch before it's time for parents to pick us up. Numerous research have demonstrated the advantages of forest school and the value of outdoor learning for kids. We hold our Beach School mornings from May through July. Each week, we rent a beach hut next to Frankies Caf and have a great time socialising and participating in outdoor activities. In addition to many other entertaining games, we enjoy painting the pebbles, kite flying, and beach picnics. By cleaning the beach every morning while we are there, we also contribute to the ecosystem in the area.
