The Candover Valley Pre-School has been operating for over 30 years and is situated in the centre of the stunning Candover Valley.
We are an Ofsted Outstanding setting that provides government-funded pre-school lessons for kids ages 2 and above from 8.30 am to 11.45 am on Fridays and from 8.30 am to 3.15 pm on Monday through Thursday.
We are a very supportive and approachable team, working closely with parents to ensure all our children feel happy during their time with us at Pre-school.
Children are free to explore and make decisions based on their interests in a rich learning environment.
Early Years Professionals engage with children and enhance their learning throughout their play.
We value maintaining regular communication with parents, which includes providing daily feedback and holding teacher-parent conferences to go over their child's development.
A secure and engaging atmosphere for play and learning is provided by our spacious, well-lit purpose-built room and its well-equipped garden.
Children develop into self-assured young people who are prepared for school via play in a cheerful, carefree environment with a combination of teacher-led and independent activities.
With tools like the perennially popular mud kitchen, playhouse, sand pit, and water table, the garden outside offers a diverse learning environment that promotes imaginative play and develops fine motor skills.
It is possible to access the field of Preston Candover Primary School, which offers great space for jogging, parachute games, and other activities.
Where possible we offer the children the opportunity to visit local farms and go on woodland walks to enhance their pre-school learning experience.
The option to attend our Forest School on a Monday or Thursday morning is one that we are happy to provide.
We attend our forest school regardless of the weather on the Sainsburys estate grounds.
