Camelot Day Nursery

Our family-run childcare centre, which is located in Moulsham Street and is only a short walk from Chelmsford City Center and the Train Station, has recently expanded into a charming courtyard development at St John's Court. Built as school buildings in the 1800s, these buildings' open floor plans are ideal for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Here at St. John's Court, we also provide a fully equipped sensory room and a parents meeting room.
At Camelot, we take great satisfaction in our solid relationships with parents.
It is a terrific method to socialise with other parents of the same age group.
We offer 10/15-minute slots with your childs key person, and this enables parents to have a detailed chat with their childs Key person on a one to one basis.
Every Summer Camelot holds these spectacular events for all ages, friends and families to join in.
Camelot welcomes parents to offer their time and support and hosts a range of vendors and entertainment elements.
This is one of Camelots favourite events of the year, and we enjoy taking a coach of children and families to our chosen venue or farm in the local Essex area, and exploring the animals and environment and having a joyful day out.
We have a few parents who are eager to assist Camelot.

We provide top-notch tools and resources to support your child's learning and growth, and the nursery aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is the curriculum for all children under the age of five.
All staff are fully qualified and received regular training, as well as an enhanced CRB disclosure check and at least two satisfactory references before they start to work one on one with children.
Both of our kitchens have obtained a 5 Star food hygiene rating, which takes into account the conditions in the kitchen as well as the nursery's procedures for handling food.
All of the stainless steel work surfaces, cabinets, and automatic food lift in our newly installed kitchen at St. John's Court were specifically designed and installed to meet the demands of the nursery.
