The goal of forest school, which originated in Scandinavia, is to encourage and facilitate children's hands-on outdoor exploration and experience of the natural world.
The Reggio Emilio approach's seventh major tenet argues that the classroom setting serves as a third instructor.
Our outdoor environment at Buntings serves as an extension of our interior classroom.
The option to evaluate danger in a secure setting is provided by forest schools.
All instruction is child-directed and play-based.
We spend time getting to know your kid and your family from the moment they enrol at Buntings.
We can enable your kid to feel confident enough to take risks, make friends, and try new things by forging deep relationships with them and supporting their personal, social, and emotional growth.
To arrange these flexible activities and opportunities for the kids to assist their learning and development, we combine the EYFS with their interests and developmental requirements.
We use Jigsaw PSHE in our preschool classroom, The Mighty Oaks.
Jigsaw is a session-per-week programme that combines emotional literacy, behaviour self-regulation, social skills, and spiritual growth.
For young pre-schoolers, sessions are designed to offer a brief input utilising a number of learning methodologies, along with a choice of activities that may be adapted throughout the week to enhance the learning.
We are excited about seeing the kids grow and thrive throughout their time at Buntings, and we strongly want our parents to participate in the process as well.
