On the location of the former Ormiston Six Villages Academy, Bright Starts Day Nursery has been in operation since September 2013.
Westergate Day Nursery was the previous name of the nursery when it first opened in 1993.
We have 30 children who range in age from three months to five years registered with us. We provide full-year care (51 weeks) or term-time only care (38 weeks), or you can choose a programme that fits for you by visiting the Dates and Fees page.
In a secure setting, we offer a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
There are two rooms in the nursery, one for kids 3 months to 2 years old and the other for kids 2 to 5 years old.
We have a team of energetic, sociable employees who give the kids in our care superior care.
We adhere to the 3:1, 4:1, and 8:1 adult to child ratios for children aged 0 to 2, respectively.
We want to provide a glimpse into how we interact with the kids on a daily basis at the nursery and how we help each child develop and learn on their own.
At the nursery, we have an apprentice who is given a day off each week to attend college.
Families can choose to bring their own breakfast, lunch, and tea or the nursery will supply them.
We accommodate children's dietary demands and sensitivities.
The free entitlement is available to qualified children who are 2, 3, and 4 years old.
15 hours of free childcare per week are available to all children over the age of three (and some youngsters as young as two).
The flexible 15-hour entitlement will be distributed across a minimum of two days per week (for 38 weeks).
