Bright Horizons Godalming Day Nursery and Preschool

The most recent Ofsted examination of Bright Horizons Godalming Day Nursery and Preschool resulted in a Good rating.
On November 17th, the nursery had an inspection, and all 4 departments obtained a Good rating. Education standards; conduct and attitudes; personal growth; leadership and management.
Since the previous inspection, the nursery has seen tremendous improvement. A deeper knowledge of safeguarding has resulted from increased training and support for personnel, especially managers.
The emphasis of the staff is on supporting children's wellness and development of confidence. They encourage and reassure kids while they play. Children's accomplishments are praised by staff as they are encouraged to carry out chores on their own, such putting on and taking off their shoes and jackets. Little ones behave nicely. They feel comfortable conversing with guests. They can learn how to play together with the support of gentle reminders about sharing and taking turns.
Children have many of chances to improve their reading. For instance, people take pleasure in telling tales based on images of the neighbourhood. Kids examine the images, explain what they see, and enthusiastically recount to staff that they observed ducks flying over the park. Staff expertly weave these thoughts and recollections into a narrative that includes all of the kids. These abilities will aid kids in their future academic endeavours, such as reading and writing.

I am very proud of the successful six-month turn around, hard work and dedication from all of the staff team for the Good grade we have received. I am now looking forward to a successful 2022 with the nursery back to where it belongs.
