I had previously worked in numerous settings as a nursery nurse and a manager.
The welfare of our children is paramount and we focus constantly on the safeguarding of our children by offering and completing quality training for every staff member.
Each child is nurtured and cared for as if they were our own; we have very strong relationships with all our families and focus on the links between home and nursery to give each child security and continuity.
I split my time between the office and daily running of the nursery, recruitment, ordering, staffing and accounts.
I also mentor staff with daily roles and take time with the staff team to ensure communication between the whole team.
I ensure standards are met by completing staff one to ones and appraisals frequently giving my team the opportunity to take on new roles and experience different age groups to develop their own skills.
