Since March 2004, when I was hired as the nursery manager in anticipation of the nursery's launch in October 2004, I have been employed by Bright Beginnings.
Being the mother of twin boys, I am fully aware of the stress that comes with having a full-time job and raising a family.
Having earned my certification as a NNEB nursery nurse in 1990, I have 32 years of expertise in childcare.
My whole professional career has been spent working in private day nurseries. I began as a nursery nurse and worked my way to the position of nursery manager.
At Bright Beginnings, I serve as both the early years professional and the nursery's deputy manager.
Since 2009, I have been employed at Bright Beginnings Day Nursery, and I am really passionate about changing things for the better here.
Prior to taking on this position, I visited Denmark and Scotland to research the Forest School methodology and the value of outdoor learning, two things that I am always working to improve at Bright Beginnings Day Nursery.
I am passionate in encouraging learning in kids from 6 weeks old to 8 years old and helping each one feel special, unique, and achieve in society and the larger world.
