Bracken Place Day Nursery

On the outskirts of Southampton in Chilworth, Bracken Place is a large day nursery and pre-school for kids between the ages of 0 and 5. It is situated in 2 acres of grounds. The nursery was founded around 2000 and has developed through the years to become one of Hampshire's top independent daycare nurseries. We were thrilled to receive an exceptional rating from Ofsted in April 2016, who believed the general calibre of the experiences offered for teaching and learning to be at the highest level. Our goal is to create a setting where kids can experience a lot of outdoor space, develop a desire for learning, and have FUN!, much like the loving care and attention they get at home. We use a Keyworker system (link to Keyworker website), which enables specific staff members to concentrate on kids in order to support our ethos and philosophy of helping kids grow through praise and encouragement. Every child is treated as an individual, and we strive to encourage their moral, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth. There are 5 distinct spaces at Bracken Place, and each one is completely furnished with toys and other objects that are suitable for the various age groups. The Early Years Foundation Stage is followed across the board, according to the Department for Education & Skills. It is understandable that you would want to make the decision to enrol your child in a daycare nursery with confidence because it is such a significant one. When a child first enrols at Bracken Place, a settling-in phase is planned to enable a seamless transition from home to nursery and gives us a chance to get to know your child better.
