A not-for-profit organisation that is recognised as a charity, Boscastle Play School in North Cornwall has been offering daycare for more than 40 years. We encourage play-based learning in a stimulating, imaginative, and enjoyable setting. The facilities are excellent, and a recently renovated building is outfitted with tools for kids to learn through Free Flow play. Children get supervised access to a well-established wooded area and stream outside where they can commune with nature. Along with our guinea pigs and hens, which the kids help to care for, we have a fruitful garden (built with the help of the Eden Project) with raised beds where the kids may plant, grow, and consume their own food. We also have playhouses, a sand pit, and several ride-ons. There is also a sizable outdoor covered space. There is a sizable open area inside where the kids can play, cook, create, unwind, and dine. A typical phrase includes activities like puzzles, reading, painting, dressing up, woodworking, and cooking. We enjoy going out and about, both in our neighbourhood and beyond afield. Wednesday, 9.45 a.m. to 11.45 a.m., Stay & Play (ages 0 to 3 with accompanying parent).
